Parent nodes are not positioned correctly in relation with children

I don't understand why the parent nodes are always alligned to the left instead of the center. Is there a property I'm missing or what? I don't think there is any conflict with other css files in my app.

I was having the same issue and i added

<style type="text/css"> #chart-container { text-align: center; } </style>

in the header and it centered
