What would make a non-blocking shadow pilot worth your time?

I do not want a shadow pilot that starts with "install this and tell me what you think."

The useful question is smaller: did the result help a maintainer decide what to look at, or did it add another noisy check?

If you have run a similar non-blocking check, what did you measure before keeping it?
