FYI: I'm starting the process of doing a release. I plan to get this done before I leave for (yet another) holiday near the end of August. As part of this process, I want to produce a release candidate by Aug 14. If you have changes you would like to get into this release, please do a PR before then.

Hopefully we will soon have a plan for more regular releases and a good process to get them out. So if you can't get the work done in the next week, don't despair -- you'll have another chance in a month or two.
