Here is the pin assignment for the battery. |

Can anyone help me? I'd even risk buying a battery for it from an Aiways U5... |

Thanks Dala, I will first try to read the data from the CAN port on my Aiways U5 via OBD. Hi Dala, I've just bought a battery for an Aiways U5 from a car salvage yard in the Netherlands. I drive an Aiways U5 myself and will now try to obtain the necessary data according to the wiki/Data-needed-for-new-battery-integration. If I have any questions, I'll get back to you here. I'd be happy to contribute again to this great community! |

You can read the CAN bus using a battery emulator. I can try to read the CAN bus from the OBD2 connector in my Aiways U5. I just need some instructions and time. |

The community in Germany has discovered a lot about the Aiways U5, including CAN bus communication and so on! Since I don't understand much of that yet, and I haven't managed to wake up the battery management system (BMS), I have a question: can the information from the project https://wiki.openaiways.net/doku.php?id=obd2 help us with this? As I said, I have a working Aiways U5 and an extra Aiways U5 battery at home. Can anyone help me with this? |

Uh oh!

Hello, I currently drive an Aiways U5. Since service for this car is becoming increasingly scarce or nonexistent in Germany, more and more defective Aiways U5s are available cheaply, including the battery. Has this ever been tested with a battery emulator? Unfortunately, the battery isn't listed.
