BYD Seagull/Dolphin Mini battery?

I am starting on an EV conversion (I know it's not the focus of this project, but the work done here has a lot of value for me).
And as I live in Brazil, the BYD Dolphin Mini is readiliy available here, so we have a pretty big offer for second hand batteries from these cars.
It has a pretty decent 38.80 kWh capacity for it's size (when compared to the normal Dolphin), and that's the reason I'd like to use it on my project
Has the research on it started? Is there anything I can do to help?
I have seen this wiki page which shows the pinout for it but nothing else
I have thoght on openning it and grabbing the signals for the contactors, but then I think I'd lose balancing capability which in a car is pretty important.
Any insights are appreciated!

CAN logs from complete running BYD Dolphin Mini will enable use of this battery. So get CAN logs if you can!
