Run immichkiosk on same Hardware with display

I'd like to run immichkiosk on the same Raspberry Pi that the display is connected to.
I set it up with DietPi and installed Podman with Dockge. I also installed Chromium as the kiosk browser. Now I have two problems:

• The browser starts up faster than the containers.
• The browser doesn’t scale to fill the entire screen.

Does anyone have any tips for me? Or should I do it completely differently?
I don’t currently have a second system available.

If it was me I would:

• Use DietPi in Kiosk/Chromium mode (in settings)
• Use the ImmichKiosk binary and avoid docker/podman
• Use systemd to launch/run the binary
