That would be a great feature |

Bumping this - My wife and I would absolutely love this feature. We're both accustomed to the Jellyfin Android TV client (which does this by default) and we switched to Wholphin. This is the only feature we miss from the Jfin client. |

Please add this feature. Thank you. |

I support this feature as well. This would come in handy especially during the end credits, they sometimes have an epilogue during or after the credits. With the current behavior, you would miss the epilogue because you would not know that it's there. If we see the trickplay images during seek, we can easily spot it. I also support replacing the relative time position with the absolute time, either at the bottom as suggested in the mockups above, or just inside the seek arrow overlay. |

Is this possible? : (I saw it in another project called fladder) |
Uh oh!

Description
Firstly, another big thanks for this app which continues to go from strength to strength.
I am really appreciating the new hold-to-seek functionality with the DPAD but if there's one thing I'd love to see it is the display of Trickplay images even when the full UI isn't up. I enable Trickplay image creation on all my libraries and find it very useful.
I understand, and agree with, the desire to keep the screen uncluttered if you don't need the full UI controls to appear, but personally I am not finding the relative time popup helpful in understanding where I am in the file. Sure, there is the discrete playbar that appears along the bottom but that is limited in helping indicate exactly where I am. The '+15', '-15' display definitely provides useful visual feedback for single-clicks (and Trickplay doesn't really add much value for small seeks) but when it gets to '+2310' my mental arithmetic can no longer keep up and it ends up not meaning much... :-)
To help illustrate my request, and having now learnt how to take screen grabs to do so, instead of seeing a relative time position for hold-to-seeking as follows:
I would prefer to see the Trickplay images being shown as per the mock-up below:
(I've also snuck in some absolute time markers but I know you're a fan of the minimalist look when the full UI isn't up so I won't push too hard on that bit!)
What do you/others think?
