1. How do I turn off zooming (magnification) ?
This can be done by setting the minimum icon size and the maximum icon size (in the Appearance Settings dialog) to the same value.
2. How to fix: When using a Kvantum theme, there is a big blur rectangular area around the dock ?
Disabling this option in Kvantum settings should fix the problem: Blur explicitly translucent windows
You need to restart the dock for the change to take effect.
