Vaultwarden doesn't support this feature. If I have some time I might take a look at it, but if someone else want's to take a look, be my guest, all the help is welcome. |

Just adding that we definitely want/ would use this for our organisation. Unsure how hard it would be to implement. But would be keen to help support it anyway we can. Never coded Rust unfortunately. - Could the same implementation be automated through a sequence of api calls? |

This is pretty much required for business use cases where the "Enforce organization data ownership" is on (should be about every business use case I can think of). It should also include that collection ("My Items") as the default storage location for all credentials for that user. I think this is how Bitwarden works as it replaces "My Vault". I would love to find a way to support someone working on this. |

ok. In the past I have used other services (cloud) and all have had the feature where the employee has their own area by default that is controlled by the business. I very much like the idea behind a self-hosted solution for some business I work with that have compliance issues that make cloud options unacceptable. I have recently been testing Vaultwarden because it seemed like an excellent solution since organizations and such were added. I could make a collection for each user as they are setup but that really doesn't seem scalable. Please don't take this as complaint. The work done here is great and wonderful and I will look for opportunities to support it personally if I can but this might be a make or break feature for my use case. I am still testing though. |

Pretty much agree with the OP on this one. I've been using VW for my company for years and have had to make a collection in my organization for each new employee, which is unscalable and takes tons of time. I just found out this feature is on bitwarden since it's relatively new. It really is a godsend in these types of scenarios where one needs to allow employees to create and modify some credentials but wants to still be a part of the credential's lifecycle (most importantly during offboarding). I would love to help, but sadly I've never coded RUST :'c |

Agreed this feature actually is a great one. Currently we let our employees have a personal vault as well as the organisation collections because we dont have this one - however when employees forget there password it is very annoying - would love to put the "Enforce organization data ownership" but then they have no space for their own passwords unless I create a new folder just for them but that is currently manual. |
