Apparently the NBA API does not respond unless you have a field "referer" in the header of your request.
While I was at it, I created a general DEFAULT_HEADERS object to use for every request across your code.

Anyway, thank you for this code, it is still used, even though you appear to have not touched it for 2 years !

Thank you for the update on DEFAULT_HEADERS. Using the changes, I was able to use the api to get response.
