FastBackdrop is a tool designed to quickly create Backdrops in Nuke.
Press Alt + B to open FastBackdrop, type a custom label, hit Enter, and a Backdrop is created instantly with a random color.
Choose from color presets by clicking one of the color swatches, or pick any color you want using the color‑picker icon.
In FastBackdrop.py, you can adjust default settings, such as font, font size, padding, and other stylistic preferences to match your needs.
- FastBackdrop was developed in Nuke 12.1v5 and it's currently being tested with new versions, but it's designed to work between all Nuke versions.
- It works for commercial and non-commercial versions (except Indie due to the Python limitation).
