Enabling Trakt scrobbling when accessing Yamtrack through a reverse proxy

I have not succeeded in getting Yamtrack to show a preview for 'currently playing' media on Stremio, as it does with my Plex content - or, by the same token, to keep proper track of Stremio progress. As far as I can tell, the only limited Stremio coverage available to me is via the occasional refresh of the Trakt connection.

I have the Yamtrack scrobbler plugin active in Stremio; the reverse proxy that I access Yamtrack through is https -- so I cannot understand why I can't get 'live' and proper Stremio integration in Yamtrack.

One note in the connection section in Yamtrack indicates that reverse proxy setups may be an issue, but does not expand on it.

If anyone has a suggestion about this, I would be grateful; Yamtrack is too marginal to have a worthwhile Reddit community to post to, at the moment.
