Have you ever gotten to the end of a long week with grocery supplies on the edge of spoiling from the weekend's grocery haul? Do you hate to waste groceries you spent your hard earned money on? Refrigersaver is an application designed to help cut down on ingredient waste by providing potential recipes using a desired ingredient.
This project uses the following technologies:
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and the db.json package.
- themealdb api
$ Right click index.html and open in browser
$ json-server --w db.json --port 3000
On the first visit, users will be greated by a prompt to search for a recipe with a desired ingredient
Users can view the selected recipe's ingredient list and cooking instructions.
- Users can also favorite a dish.
Users can leave a comment for themselves on their favorite meals for the next time they cook it.
- Favorited Meals can be deleted from their favorite list
