Website build breaks due to size limit

The recent website build for 1.16 fails because the size of the generated html is larger than Azure Static Web apps can support.

The content server has rejected the request with: BadRequest
Reason: The size of the app content was too large. The limit for this Static Web App is 524288000 bytes.

Fixed for now by applying minification on the Hugo build step. But in time we'll run into this again. I'll create another issue for the long term solution.
