Shared setups
Ready-made field mappings for inverter, battery and energy-monitor integrations. Paste one into Configure → Import configuration instead of mapping every sensor by hand. No setup contains an API key or system ID: an export never does.
Setups are kept in
setups/ in the repository,
where the tests check that each one imports cleanly, and are listed below.
| Integration | Hardware | File |
|---|---|---|
| Sigenergy Local Modbus (TypQxQ) | Sigenergy SigenStor |
sigenergy-modbus.yaml: lifetime counters, battery fields b1-b5 |
| Sigenergy Local Modbus (TypQxQ) | Sigenergy SigenStor |
sigenergy-modbus-extended.yaml: daily counters, battery and grid in extended fields v7-v12 (live example) |
Open the file, use Raw to copy it, and paste it into Import configuration.
- Copy the YAML of your integration below (or from
setups/). -
Settings → Devices & services → PVOutput Uploader → Configure → Import
configuration, paste it, and choose:
- Add the fields not configured yet keeps what you have and adds the rest; Replace all fields starts from the setup.
- Also take its settings only if you want the setup's upload interval and history settings too.
- Sensors with other names on your installation are listed on the next screen: pick yours for each. A field left empty is skipped.
- Check the device page: each field sensor shows its source and unit.
Extended (v7-v12) and battery (b1-b6) fields need a PVOutput donor account.
- Configure → Export configuration, copy the YAML.
- Open a Share a setup issue and paste it. The form asks for the integration and its version, your hardware, and anything others should know. The setup is then added to the repository and listed above. No fork or pull request needed.
Familiar with GitHub? A pull request adding setups/<integration>-<variant>.yaml works
too; see the setups README.
Prefer the integration's default entity IDs, so most sensors are found without picking. See Mapping your sensors for what each field expects.
A template showing the format; replace the entity IDs with your integration's.
