Execution rules

  • top-level takes are injected from the command line or host context
  • top-level gives are requested outputs
  • each uses entry receives only its local takes
  • each uses entry produces values listed in its local gives
  • Zinc derives dependency order from $ references
  • independent ready parts may run concurrently when config allows
  • a file with no uses runs as one implicit action-part using the default model preset

Shape references

A part can be inline:

If shape and model both appear, model is a Zinc runtime preference for that shape execution.
