Extra Metadata Loader

Issue Description

4K trailer videos downloaded by Extra Metadata Loader often fail to play in Playnite.
Most of the failing trailers are encoded in AV1 or VP9 codec.
When I manually convert the same video to H.264 / AVC (MP4), it plays correctly.

This seems to be a playback compatibility limitation rather than a crash, but it affects usability because many trailers downloaded in 4K do not launch or show a black screen.

Installing external codec packs (like K-Lite) or manually converting using handbrake helps, but these are workarounds, not real fixes.

Steps to Reproduce

Download trailer using Extra Metadata Loader

Trailer downloads in 4K (usually AV1 or VP9)

Try to play trailer in Playnite

Video does not launch or shows black screen

Expected Behavior

Trailer should play normally regardless of codec, or there should be an option to limit codec/resolution (for example force H.264.

Additional Notes

Current workarounds that work:

Manually converting trailers to H.264 / AVC or using k-lite media foundation

Installing K-Lite Codec Pack

But it would be helpful if there was an option to:

support any video formats normally
