Missing static type checking in for-in loops

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Run the code in http://try.dartlang.org/s/F-MX.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to get a static type warning (int is not assignable to String) in the for-in loop, but the static type checker does not report any warnings.

  main() {
    List<int> list = [ 1, 2, 3 ];
    for (String e in list) { // <--- I expect type warning here.
      print(e);
    }
  }
