Cohort Discovery (the headline feature)

1. Stage 1 — deterministic engine: new CohortBuilder with 6-stage pipeline, backend-agnostic over Delta + LadybugDB; rule-based linkage + compatibility constraints; content-hash cohort URIs; materialisation to graph triples and UC Delta tables (idempotent, partitioned by rule_id); 13 new /dtwin/cohorts/* endpoints; full UI under Digital Twin → Advanced (5-section form, live counters, Why?/Why not? explain, UC Auto-pick + write probe, 4 templates).
2. Stage 2 — NL agent (agents/agent_cohort/): 6 read-only tools wired to Stage 1 endpoints; one-shot loop translating prompts like "consultants who can be staffed together" into validated CohortRule JSON; collapsible trace UI; never writes (user reviews + saves).
   Note: Multi-hop linkage paths with per-hop where filters and per-hop path-trace diagnostic; lenient type filter restored on path hops; ontology/data URI namespace drift fix.

Frontend Design System

• New .cursor/11-frontend-design.mdc rule covering page layout, popup policy, sidebar, breadcrumb (with icons), section actions, message bus.
• Flat ob-tabs tab style introduced and documented as a first-class contract; baked-in white background + cohort-page padding.

Deployment & infra hardening

• Single source of truth: scripts/deploy.config.sh + app.yaml.template; DEFAULT_* literals consolidated; APP_NAME extracted in Makefile; env-overridable APP_NAME / MCP_APP_NAME in bootstrap-app-permissions.sh.
• Dependencies: consolidated to pyproject.toml; Apps install pyproject deps; Databricks startup dependency hardening (ontobricks-030).
• Deploy payload tightened: exclude docs/markdown; bootstrap + resource validation hardened; orphaned test wrappers and stale report artefacts removed.

Health, observability & async tasks

• /health rewritten as real readiness probe (retired /health/detailed); CloudFetch capability signal; explicit Lakebase permission probes (with placeholder-escaping fix); CloudFetch probe aligned with settings-based warehouse resolution; runtime capability gating for CloudFetch.
• New Settings → Health tab.
• Async tasks: measured duration in navbar + START/END logs; background Ladybug archive tracked as a navbar task; running-step duration timezone drift fixed.
• Mapping diagnostics: verify SELECT permissions on every source table.

Domain build experience

• Live "Building Digital Twin" log panel with .log export.
• Fast gzip, background Volume archive (optional skip), honest timing for the background registry archive.
