Adding checksum verfication?

Hi! Thank you for creating and maintaining this amazing tool!

The npm distribution publishes prebuilt Go binaries via the release workflow, but it does not look like there is a checksum verification step for the distributed artifacts - would you consider adding checksum validation to the npm install/distribution flow?
