_davPDF v26.10.5
🇺🇸 Updated _davPDF to v26.10.5 with the definitive _davstudios suite final polish based on the new motion system. Aligned easing, durations, reveals, stagger, hover behavior and transitions with the new visual language, using 720 ms primary motion, 940 ms slow animations, 72 ms stagger, 170 ms page exit and 430 ms page entrance. Added real exit and entrance transitions between Home, Merge, Split, Pages, Compress, Metadata, Protect, Unlock, Conversions, Activity and Settings, replacing instant screen switches with opacity, subtle vertical movement and light blur. Theme switching has also been aligned with the new 680 ms radial reveal, with a compatible fallback and full prefers-reduced-motion support. Removed the release number from the ordinary application interface while keeping version information exclusively in technical manifests and GitHub Releases. Updated the Italian Buy Me A Coffee wording from “Comprami Un Caffè” to “Offrimi Un Caffè” across the interface, README and dedicated assets. Fully normalized README.md using a stable bilingual structure independent from individual releases. Windows Release builds now use windows_subsystem = "windows", preventing a separate CMD window and additional Alt+Tab entry. The Rust backend was also verified to contain no child CLI processes capable of spawning additional console windows. Strengthened automated tests for the new _davstudios motion system, Windows GUI subsystem, absence of the version from the UI, updated Buy Me A Coffee wording and LF/CRLF compatibility for Cargo.lock. Synchronized v26.10.5 across package.json, package-lock.json, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, Tauri configuration, workflow, documentation and tests. Performed another complete repository normalization while keeping graphical assets pixel-for-pixel identical. Fully preserved the PDF engine, PDFium, Merge, Split, Page Manager, compression, metadata, Protect, Unlock, conversions, drag and drop, history and output safety. No functional changes were made to the PDF processing logic.
_davPDF v26.10.4
🇺🇸 Updated _davPDF to v26.10.4 while retaining the new _davstudios release standard and YY.M.REVISIONE versioning scheme. Synchronized the version across package.json, package-lock.json, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, Tauri configuration, documentation and tests. Performed a new and more rigorous complete repository normalization across the entire project, ensuring that every tracked file already present in the previous release receives a real but neutral modification and is therefore associated with the v26.10.4 commit, removing remaining GitHub file and folder entries still linked to v26.10.2 or v26.10.3 releases. All text files were normalized again through non-functional EOL/EOF changes, while PNG, ICO and ICNS assets were also updated through non-visual binary changes while fully preserving their appearance. Removed the generated pdfium.dll runtime from the source package, as it is already excluded from version control through .gitignore: PDFium continues to be prepared automatically by the dedicated scripts and GitHub Actions workflow using the correct runtime for Windows, macOS and Linux. Retained the multiplatform verification of pdfium.dll, libpdfium.dylib and libpdfium.so after runtime preparation, together with stable path checks and Cargo.lock synchronization compatible with both LF and CRLF checkouts. Preserved the official metadata with _davstudios as publisher, davstudios.it homepage, © 2026 _davstudios copyright, MIT license, Productivity category, package descriptions and Debian metadata for Linux. Preserved the existing studio.dav.pdf identifier to maintain application identity continuity. The bilingual 🇮🇹/🇺🇸 Description workflow, Linux hardening and Windows SmartScreen, macOS Gatekeeper and Linux AppImage instructions also remain unchanged. Fully preserved the PDFium runtime preparation and bundling flow for Windows, macOS and Linux. No functional changes were made to the PDF engine, PDFium rendering, merge, split, compression, page management, protection, conversion features or application interface.
_davPDF v26.10.3
Synchronized the version across package.json, package-lock.json, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, Tauri configuration, documentation and tests. Fixed the PDFium runtime verification contract which in v26.10.2 required pdfium.dll to exist during npm test, causing the pipeline to fail on macOS and Linux and making the check fragile on Windows as well. Tests no longer require a pre-generated PDFium binary to be stored in the repository: the GitHub Actions workflow now prepares the platform-specific runtime and explicitly verifies its presence immediately afterwards, checking pdfium.dll on Windows, libpdfium.dylib on macOS and libpdfium.so on Linux before tests and the Tauri build. Release version verification has also been strengthened across package.json, package-lock.json, Tauri configuration, Cargo.toml and Cargo.lock with a parser compatible with both LF and CRLF line endings. Repository normalization and deterministic EOL rules introduced in the previous release have been retained.
