Click an arbitrary location icon and select a raster from the pop-up, e.g. cover/world: the raster appears on the map. Now close GeoTIFFs from the left menu: the raster disappears. This is correct behaviour.
Now, repeat the steps abobe but select the same raster twice. This time, the raster won't disappear when closing GeoTIFFs in the left menu.
