DERVE - Decentralized Revolution Web App

DERVE (Decentralized Revolution) is a decentralized web application that rewards users with the $DERV token. The platform allows users to complete various tasks to earn points, refer friends for additional bonuses, and engage in token swapping. This README will guide you through the project, its features, and setup instructions.

Features

  1. Homepage:

    • The homepage allows users to earn $DERV points by tapping the logo area.
    • Users can see an avatar displaying their profile picture and have access to the wallet connect button in the top-right corner.
    • A points counter updates dynamically as users interact with the platform.
  2. Referral System:

    • Users can generate a unique referral link to invite friends to the platform.
    • Earn 10 $DERV per referral.
    • The referral dashboard shows a list of referred friends and their respective earned points.
  3. Task Completion:

    • A task section where users can complete specific actions like:
      • Following accounts on social media (e.g., X).
      • Subscribing to YouTube channels.
      • Connecting their crypto wallet.
    • Once tasks are completed, users can tap the “Complete” button to earn $DERV.
  4. Swap Page:

    • Users can swap between TON and $DERV tokens.
    • The swap page provides a detailed breakdown of pricing and conversion rates.
    • The interface includes a toggle feature to choose between TON and $DERV.
    • Visual indicators like gradient buttons and token icons provide an enhanced user experience.
  5. Leaderboard:

    • Displays the top users based on the points they have accumulated.
    • A dynamic list showcasing the most active users in the community.
  6. Chat Page:

    • A space for users to interact and ask questions about the bot and platform.

Technologies Used

  • Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS for styling, and HTML5.
  • Smart Contracts & Blockchain: TON and $DERV tokens.
  • Backend: Node.js (optional), Firebase for authentication (optional).
  • Other Libraries:
    • FontAwesome for icons.
    • WalletConnect for wallet integration.

Installation and Setup

To run DERVE locally, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (version 14.x or higher)
  • npm or yarn for package management.
  • Git for version control.
  • Basic understanding of React and JavaScript.

Steps to Clone and Run the Project

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/derve.git
    cd derve
  2. Install dependencies: Using npm:

    npm install

    Or using yarn:

    yarn install
  3. Start the development server:

    npm start

    The application will be available at http://localhost:3000.

  4. Build for production: To build a production-ready version of the app:

    npm run build
  5. Run the backend server (optional): If your project involves a backend API, set it up according to the backend documentation, and then:

    node server.js

Environment Variables

To connect the project to your blockchain wallet or any APIs, you will need to configure the environment variables. Create a .env file in the root directory and add your API keys and other configurations.

Example .env file:

REACT_APP_API_URL=https://your-backend-api.com
REACT_APP_WALLET_CONNECT_KEY=your_wallet_connect_key
