Unsloth for DeepSeek Harness

dsh-unsloth-hands — a pure-client tool plugin that lets the DeepSeek Harness online model hand repetitive, token-cheap labor to a locally running Unsloth Desktop (Unsloth Studio / llama-server).

What it gives the model

• unsloth_run — run one prompt on the local text model (batch rewrites, translations, string munging, short summarization, extraction).
• unsloth_vision — send images to the local multimodal model (OCR, image analysis, multi-image comparison) with structured report templates (analyze / ocr / compare).

Design

• Pure client: never spawns, owns, or stops any process — you run Unsloth Desktop and load the model in its UI; the plugin only talks HTTP to it.
• Every request authenticated with Authorization: Bearer sk-unsloth-... (Unsloth Settings → API).
• Clear failure modes: SERVER_NOT_RUNNING (app not running) / AUTH (key missing or wrong).
• Standard harness bundle (dsh.bundle + cordis.patch.yml), follows the official dsh-tools contract.

Install

or npm install dsh-unsloth-hands and insert the row manually.

Compatibility

• DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc series (tested against @deepseek-ai/* 0.1.0-rc.6)
• Node.js >= 20
• Unsloth Desktop: any version exposing the external API
