Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Ctrl+F now works inside your conversation. Jump straight back to that error code, file path, or half-remembered parameter buried 40 messages up — no more scrolling and squinting.
Why: The app has no in-conversation find (the sidebar search is cross-session retrieval, a different tool), and I found no community plugin covering it — so this fills the gap. Browser-native Ctrl+F sort of works, but it searches the whole page DOM: sidebar session titles, your draft, settings text — all noise, and zero session awareness.
What it does:
n/mcounterKnown limits (MVP): loaded messages only (no auto-load-older — deliberate, to avoid unbounded DOM growth in a non-virtualized list); literal case-insensitive matching, no regex; matches within a single text node; chat view only — trajectory view and modals keep the native shortcut.
Where: part of my fork-maintained plugin set → https://github.com/a137460387/deepseek-harness/tree/master/packages/extensions/find-in-chat. Feedback welcome — especially on the coverage trade-off and anything you'd want from regex or case-sensitive modes.
