This looks like the same npx / npm exec OOM reported in #3890, not a WSL coredump specific to DSH itself.

The crash happens while npx is resolving/installing the package and the Node heap reaches roughly 2 GB.

Try installing DSH globally instead:

npm install -g @deepseek-ai/dsh
dsh web

That avoids the heavy dependency-resolution step done by npx. The same workaround was reported to fix the identical Ineffective mark-compacts near heap limit failure on Linux.
