DSHBox
DSHBox is an open-source Android runtime for running the full DeepSeek Harness locally on Android phones and tablets.
It packages Debian, Node.js, DeepSeek Harness, PRoot, and an embedded WebView into one APK. No root access or separate Termux installation is required.
DSHBox has been tested on both Android phones and tablets.

Current release
The current release is v1.1.1.
It supports the DSH 0.1.2+ Web session authentication flow and provides integrated runtime and DSH update management.
Security note
PRoot provides a rootless user-space Linux environment, but it is not equivalent to a kernel-level security sandbox.
Users should review permissions carefully and avoid giving untrusted agents or plugins access to sensitive files, credentials, or personal data.
Project status
DSHBox is an unofficial community project and is not an official DeepSeek Android application.
The project is still new. Device compatibility reports, bug reports, security reviews, documentation improvements, and pull requests are welcome.
