You don't need to install @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client separately: dsh 0.2.0-rc.1 already ships it at the matching version (@deepseek-ai/dsh@0.2.0-rc.1 depends on @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client@0.2.0-rc.1). The 0.1.0-rc.7 package has peer dependencies on @deepseek-ai/dsh-*@^0.1.0-rc.7, which a 0.2.0 install can't satisfy, hence the error. If you added it with dsh plugin, remove it: dsh plugin --profile web remove @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client.

An MCP server is then just a config entry. For dsh web, put it in ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml (or ~/.dsh/cordis.patch.yml for every profile):

For a remote server use transport: streamable-http with url: (and optional headers:) instead of command/args.

One gotcha: the generated cordis.patch.yml contains []. Replace that [] with the block. If you append the block below it, the file is no longer valid YAML and dsh exits with "failed to parse … cordis.patch.yml".

To try a server once without touching the profile, save the block to a file and run dsh web --patch /path/to/mcp.yml. dsh --profile web --dump-config shows whether the entry made it into the composed config. All fields are in the mcp-client README, and mcp-memory.md has full worked examples.

Checked with @deepseek-ai/dsh@0.2.0-rc.1 from npm: the entry appears in --dump-config both via --patch and from the profile's cordis.patch.yml.
