[DSFdsfWxp]

• @deepseek-ai/dsh: 0.2.0-rc.2
• OS: Windows 11 Version 26H2 (Build 26300.9550)

@deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app 0.2.0-rc.2 hands the startup URL to the system browser opener and does not pass a Chrome profile path (source). An inherited BROWSER variable can choose a different opener (docs). The release supports --no-open to suppress that handoff (flag).

Try dsh --profile web --no-open, then paste the printed dsh web: URL into a Chrome window using your usual profile. Compare the two windows' Profile Path at chrome://version (Chrome guide) and check whether the PowerShell session that starts dsh sets BROWSER. The package source confirms the handoff but cannot explain why Google verification leaves a blank profile. Could you share those Profile Path values and whether BROWSER is set?
