Hi everyone! I’ve been working on DeepSeek Harness Desktop, an experimental Electron desktop shell for DeepSeek Harness.
The goal is to make the existing Harness Web experience easier to launch and use on Windows—without requiring users to install Node.js, pnpm, or clone the source repository.
What it does
webprofile locallyDSH_HOMEThe desktop shell deliberately reuses the existing agent, session, tools, configuration, and Web implementations. It is a compatibility layer rather than a separate Harness frontend.
Windows installer
The project can produce a self-contained Windows x64 NSIS installer. A GitHub Actions workflow also builds and verifies the installer on every push.
