You won Repository Radar's Understory of the Month 📚

Hey Haystack folks 👋

I write Repository Radar, a newsletter that curated and tracks open source projects. Every month we hand out a slightly nerdy award called Understory of the Month, and for June, Haystack won it.

Quick translation, because the name is deliberately silly. We score two things: how much a project ships, and how fast its stars are climbing. Usually those rise together. The Understory is for the projects where they don't, where the code is flying but the star count is strolling. In other words, you're doing way more work than your GitHub stars let on.

Haystack scored 99 out of 100 on shipping in June. That's about as busy as anything we track. The award is basically us saying: people are sleeping on how much you ship.
