LGTM! Thanks for your PR. It's definitely better to first collect the meta data and then initialize the Document and set its id. 👍 In case you are still facing other problems with the document ids and id_hash_keys, please note that there is an open issue here that might be relevant to you as well: #3236
I added some labels to the PR. Now it's ready to be merged.
