redesign feedback #225

First of all, thanks for the update — always nice to see the site evolving. That said, the redesign feels a bit off compared to the previous version. The old site looked more clean and “engine-grade”, now it feels closer to a generic modern template.

The biggest issue for me is readability. Fonts and spacing are quite large, especially in docs and API, so on desktop there’s very little info per screen and you end up scrolling a lot. API pages in particular became harder to scan quickly, everything feels too stretched vertically.

Visuals also feel a bit inconsistent — some gradients look noisy, and spacing and element sizes don’t always align, so overall it feels less polished than before. It also feels very mobile-first, but more like the mobile layout was scaled up rather than adapted, so a lot of space on larger screens is just unused.

Some pages are also a bit tiring to look at for longer periods (contrast + gradients). On the positive side, the assets section with the sidebar is actually a nice improvement.

Overall it feels like a step back in usability (especially docs/API), even though the direction itself makes sense. I think with some tweaks to spacing, density, and visual consistency it could be really solid.
