PRAISE for Socket Work! #507

Not sure how else to reach out, not an issue, but rather a Praise.
Maybe Github should offer the ability to praise things.
Anyways, the reason I am saying thank you is for offering socket connections in your library. Being able to connect via socket with the variable host_type came in handy. Every other way that I tried to connect tried defaulting to TLS but when using the host_type argument to 'socket' it worked as expected on GCP.
Please never get rid of this functionality, came in handy!
