Google lens does not work with GIFs

Bug description
Google lens reports errors and refuses to load the image.

Searching for the 1st GIF image on the page gives the following error:

Several search engines do not support uploading GIF images, including Google Lens. We can work around this limitation by converting GIF images when the search engine does not support the image format, as we already do with AVIF and WebP images.
