KiCad 10 support. There's a new KICAD10 tool identifier and part-library
support. The generic KICAD identifier now points to KiCad 10 as the latest
version, so things like generate_netlist() target it by default.
Better schematic generation. The generator now runs force-directed
placement and routing to produce hierarchical, multi-sheet schematics across
KiCad 6–10. New this release is an auto-stubbing mode for large or densely
connected circuits:
generate_schematic(auto_stub=True)
With auto_stub enabled, nets that would be hardest to route are turned into
labels instead of wires, power nets (GND, VCC, …) are emitted as proper KiCad
power symbols, and an ERC-correction loop cleans up what's left. You get the
best results by grouping related parts into @subcircuit blocks of roughly
5–15 parts each. See the docs for the full list of auto_stub_* tuning options.
Along the way, several schematic bugs were fixed and propagated across all of
KiCad 6–10: vertical net-label orientation, missing power symbols, hierarchical
UUIDs/references, and multi-unit part references.
Python 3.14 support.
SPICE fix. Netlist generation now keeps pin order correct for parts and
subcircuits.
netlist_to_skidl now synthesizes missing ancestor sheets (fixes a KeyError '/') and tolerates the value-less boolean properties that show up in
KiCad 10 netlists.
