Welcome to the EVOWORKS Control community.

EVOWORKS Control is an independent, open-source Windows companion for supported EVOWORKS keyboards. The goal is a lightweight, polished alternative to browser-based configuration—without installing a driver, keyboard hook, service, or telemetry.

What works today

• EVO80 detection across USB, 2.4 GHz receiver, and best-effort Bluetooth.
• Verified direct wired EVO80 VIA keymap, layer, macro, and supported RGB controls.
• Local profiles, app-aware switching, tray controls, settings, and diagnostic logs.
• Portable and installer downloads for Windows.

Important current limits

Configuration changes are verified only when the EVO80 is connected directly by USB in wired mode. 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth configuration are intentionally unavailable until their transports are independently verified.

The stock firmware also does not expose a safe host-readable battery percentage, and firmware flashing is not part of this project.

How you can help

• Test the app with an EVO80 and report your connection mode and Windows version.
• Share official device definitions or documentation you are allowed to redistribute.
• Help research other EVOWORKS models, especially EVO75.
• Contribute code, design feedback, bug reports, testing, and feature ideas.
• If you have protocol-research experience, help investigate the EVO80 2.4 GHz receiver safely and non-destructively.

Please do not share serial numbers, private support files, unredacted logs, vendor firmware dumps, or proprietary tools without permission.
