LeResearch is a small team doing cross-disciplinary research across any substrate where the LeDesign silo-collapse thesis applies: environmental systems, household food + nutrition, plural frontends for expert knowledge, epistemic ecology under AI-mediated knowledge, and cross-substrate methodology transfer.

The charter, mission, program tracks, and year-1 budget live in the LeDesign-ai repo under docs/leresearch-setup/ until the nonprofit is formally incorporated and this repo takes over as the source of truth.
The broader LeDesign philosophy the research nonprofit inherits lives at docs/ledesign-philosophy.md in the same repo (see §2.5 for the epistemic-ecology argument that motivates LeResearch as a distinct entity).
