Does the TCU enter deep sleep after days of not using the car? SMS not being received

Title. My SMS provider (Monogoto) works without issues for several days. But then after some days (I'm not sure the time exactly) all SMS start failing to be delivered after a certain time.

I haven't used the car in about a week. Is it possible the TCU goes into deep sleep and doesn't receive turn on at all for signal?

As far as I'm aware, there's no such thing. I have also experienced delays in sms with hologram but it was entirely caused by country-specific cell provider

The SIM provider confirmed it's because the SIM is just not connected to the network. This can be either:

• Bad coverage
• SIM device (TCU) turned off
• TCU On but not registering SIM to the network (strange)

I find it hard to believe it's just bad coverage since it works without issue for several days, and then it suddenly stops... and the car hasn't moved location. It doesn't work... until I turn on the car.

I just went out right now to confirm again, turned on the car again, and boom. SMS are being received again. This hints to me about something in the car going into sleep after some (3-4 days I think).

My only another hint would be 12v, I am sure it has protection for low 12v voltage. Could it be the problem?

The car was at low battery now (19-20% display SOC), 12V battery is pretty new (less than 1y old). I don't think it would be that, but tbh I've never had luck measuring the 12V battery and got inconsistent readings.
