Any chance that the tile menu uses the whole available screen width (both in portrait as well as landscape)? 
This full-width usage could be particularly helpful in portrait mode (in which the submenus always have the same number of tiles arranged side by side). |

Nice big menus = New gloves! The The following is a summary of what I found during private tests and fed back to @devemux86 and should help if you engage the new "On/Off" Driving Profile : The % based avoidances worked quite well, but there seemed to be a trade-off between sticking to the 37% "Primary Roads" setting and taking a 300yrd detour on a smaller parallel road to keep within that setting. I think a "smarter" algorithm is required for situations like that where such a short detour is more of a penalty than being 0.1% over your quota of Primary Roads 🧑🔬 🧮 💯 RoundTrip: The Also, you may still get a u-turn if you also use There are still times when you end up with a "round" trip shaped like a coat-hanger! I'm happy to take the RoundTrip debate into its own topic and Profile-share if anybody wants to swap ideas/routes and find a "best fit" routing profile for this. |

When trying to install the current Beta 1, Dateimanager+ tells me that the version is already installed. 
With previous betas, it was possible to update without such a message. |

Cruiser Beta can be installed over the previous version as always. @bios4 So just continue with the installation. Or use a different file manager, like Google Files. |

I have a similar message in CxExplorer - their wording is not ideal, so you have to carefully look at the version+timestamp to verify that you indeed picked the correct APK. |

Suggestion: when selecting the three dots menu > Export of a profile, there is currently an "in between screen" which could be removed from my POV: 
Tapping "Export" could directly open the second ^^ screen, where the user decides what he wants to export. |

Ah I see now your intention... This means:
Hmm, this is somehow not 100% intuitive for me, but at least I know now how it's supposed to be. To me, a dedicated "Export" menu item in Main > Settings which allows to select what to export would be the overall most intuitive way. But the possibility to export everything with a single function at all is a big step forward, so thanks for that! |

I see. Adding the name of the profile to the headline in screenshot two would still be an improvement. So the user could immediately see at a glance if he has set an external or the internal profile - e.g. after the winter season when he did not use the app for a few weeks/months and doesn't remember what was set before. 😀 |

Just tested the automatic sort order in my collection and encountered the following...
Is this intended behavior? Or, to put it differently: how do I import a single, previously created favorite to an existing group so that it adopts the attributes (color, icon, etc.) of this target group, rather than those from the group it was originally exported from? Please shed some light on this @devemux86... |

Yesterday 300 km with the profile2. The calculation of routes is good, but it does take a few odd detours through small villages instead of sticking to the main road. I couldn't do screenshots. |

For the internal profile we should choose defaults that are useful to most users. Everyone has personal preferences, that's why there is the external profile option. Also without route examples in BRouter test website, it's difficult to make tests. 🙂 |

Previously the save and the export / share were separated, not an expected interface. Long press on mobile devices is considered a "hidden" action. |

I also struggled with this over the past couple of days, almost enough to write similar thoughts to @bios4 When loading+editing a Route from the Collection, wanting to Save (or Export) it took some time to find the "Overwrite with loaded route" in the Collection>Route menu. I never thought to look under the main "Routing" tile. It's 4 presses for me: Map>Menu>Routing>Save route - but as I'm using the "Large Menu", it's fairly easy to navigate with the PS: If you save a Route into the Collection with the same name as an existing, there is no confirmation/warning message. Same goes for the "Overwrite" option. The latter has potential for tears if you have a Route loaded, intend to use "Load" an accidentally touch "Overwrite". |

Exporting all of my favorites in one go from "My collection" is now supposed to be done how exactly with Beta 6? How can a favorites group be even "marked"/selected? Tapping a group's icon does nothing right now... |

Groups can be used with their menus (there is no need to "select" them).
Use the new export "All data" function in the app profile menu to export all favorites. |

We can not have everything everywhere, as this significantly increases maintenance and confuses users. Backup of all data needs to be located somewhere, the profile area seems to be the most appropriate place. |

I fully agree to that ^^! I already suggested a dedicated "Export" (maybe even "Backup"?) menu a while back, where all items could be exported from one central location. The single-item-exports in my collection should for sure be kept as is now. |

Can confirm the crash report from Leeb64 . Tried the Open external BRouter profiles separately in each route profile in Beta 6. Crashes for me when I click on "Section Profile (Fastest route)" to change the routeprofil. I changed the "Extra curvy route" to a an external brf profile. When I change it back to the Internal Profile, Cruiser does not crash . My Phone: Oppo FInd X3 Pro with Android 14 |

Probably worth a comment that the new Collection Sorting is a really nice addition: It's handy to be able to position the map (or use current GPS location) and use the Favorites list to view places by distance (and their extended info/website fields) 👍 A minor thing is that you have to exit back to the map to add a particular Favorite from the List to the active Route. Is there any benefit for others if, when a Route is loaded, the Favorites' context menu offers the Shaping/Via-Point options, too? |

@devemux86 Is that new menu working reliably for you? I can display it but none of the actions have any effect on the active Route. Although it seems to recalculate the Route as I get the time/distance popup, but no re-routing to include the selected item. eg: I select a Route between 2 Favorites from the Map, then I use the Collection/Favorites List (sorted by Distance) to pick a nearby place to add as a Via-Point. (further tapping) It seems to work if I sort them A-Z but I can make it select the wrong Favorite if I sort by Distance and pick something. eg: I tapped a cafe stop but it added a fuel stop. I think the list indices are a bit confuzzled! |

Congratulations on the continued evolution. I haven't been able to follow the latest betas, and perhaps it's a controversial feature. However, after updating to 5.9.1 from 5.8.1, I discovered that my favorites are no longer automatically displayed along the track. Instead, I have to enable "show on map" with a zoom level to see the "use in navigation" option in the menu. I have about twenty favorites lists; if I enable them, the map becomes very confusing, and I would have found it much more useful if they were only displayed while I'm navigating (and with distances in the side panels). Is it possible to manage the "use in navigation" option without having to set a zoom level? |

When the name and the folder of a route is changed, this is not kept as last name. When your want to save it again, the old name and folder is again displayed and if you don't care, you have the same route saved in different folders with different names. The last used name AND folder should be remembered to my point of view. |
