You somehow managed to break the ISFS browser example.

Your update to the ISFS browser has broken it, you can files as directories, and not the other way around, and when you enter into a file as a directory, you cannot go back.

hey @dakotath,

sorry, i do seem to have broken the example when i was cleaning up the code. on closer look a lot of the code was unnecessary or complex (unneeded nested if's, combination of snake and pascal case naming, added defines/code that aren't needed etc) and i went over it a bit.
i made one little mistake on the code handling the A button but thats it.
all code worked fine in dolphin, and on my wii if ios was patched to have full nand access, which by default it doesn't have.

i also dont know why that IOS reload code was there, but that was also completely not needed.
examples should not have a need to have code for specific ios patches or installations. they are meant to show developers how to do or design code for their applications. if they need specific ios patches because they want to do special things that the wii software design doesnt allow by default, thats on them, not us.

Lol what? I was going to take some time to fix it myself, but literally the moment I started this issue, I had other events come up w(ﾟДﾟ)w, I don't mean to come off demanding lol, my bad mate.

But yea, I see @DacoTaco 's point for IOS reloading, I threw that in there because it kept crashing on one of my Wii's (I have two Wii's to test things with), and it fixed the crashing on it.

@dakotath, the example has been fixed.
Your code assumed that if reading the dir failed, it was a file, but if you don't have access it could be anything and you wouldn't know.
the new code compensates for this by introducing a standard unknown/no access flag and only if it can read a dir or file stats will it set the dir/file flag.

also, your original comment was kinda passive agressive, which is why wintermute intervened. to me too it came over like i had just ruined everything.

but with that cleared up, everything should be a-ok again! ^^;
if it crashes with a specific ios i would look into that, that doesn't seem to be related to the app but rather a different issue tbh
