Eclipse automation opens UI that blocks further processing until closed

Expected behavior

As a IDEasy user, I want eclipse plugin installations and git repository project imports to happen automatically in the background so that I do not get disturbed and everything is automated without the need for me to interact.

Actual behavior

Such background activities actually launch Eclipse GUI and IDEasy waits for the process to terminate what requires me to close the GUI.
In projects that have many plugins or repositories this is very annoying since I have to keep closing Eclipse manually every time.
Further, I do not easily know when the processing is completed and if I close Eclipse too early, I abort it and things are not functional.

• Seems that PR #954: improve repository support #990 caused this or at least made it worse than before

Comments/Hints:

• Project import is now implemented in IDEasy in the same way it was done in devonfw-ide but it seems that it was always fragile/buggy and needs rework.

This bug is much worse than what I expected:
When a plugin gets installed actually eclipse is opened instead of installing the plugin in the background.
If I open that Eclipse several popups keep appearing:
