erdify 0.9.0 is out 🎉
Configurable model-file discovery. Install with
pip install -U erdify(or bump your pre-commitrevtov0.9.0).New:
--includeBy default erdify scans every file named
models.py. Now you can scan other layouts — amodels/package, or files liketables.py/db.py— with glob patterns:Pattern rules:
/(e.g.**/models/*.py) matches the path relative to the input —**crosses directories,*/?do not cross/./(e.g.*_models.py) matches a filename at any depth.--includereplaces the default, so listmodels.pyexplicitly if you still want it. Also settable in[tool.erdify]:When run at the default, erdify now prints a one-line hint if it spots a
models/package it skipped.💡 Tip: prefer targeted patterns over
**/*.py— a repo-wide scan reads unrelated modules and can let a non-model class shadow a same-named model.Compatibility
Opt-in and fully backward compatible — the default still scans only
models.py, verified byte-identical against production repos. Nothing changes unless you pass--include.📦 Release: https://github.com/devsuit-berlin/erdify/releases/tag/v0.9.0
