The TV Series tab reads the folder layout to group episodes by series and season. You are responsible for organising your files in the correct structure before adding them to the database.

- Each series must have its own folder.
- Each season must have its own sub-folder inside the series folder.
- Episode files must be inside a season folder, not loose in the series folder.
- Season folder names can be anything that contains a number: Season 1 / S01 / Series 1 / Saison 1 / Season 01 — all work.
- Folders without a number (e.g. "Extras", "Specials") will be shown using the folder name as-is.
Each page = one season of one series. The page label reads: Breaking Bad: Season 1 — 1 / 8 (13 episodes) Use Prev / Next to navigate between seasons. Files from different season folders are never mixed on the same page.
- Episode files placed directly inside the series folder (no season folder) will be grouped together under the series folder name with no season number.
- Files from completely different series stored in the same folder will be treated as one series.
- Reorganising folders after adding files to the database will create orphaned entries. Use Scan Orphans → Remove Orphans to clean up, then re-add.
Movies can be in any folder structure. Each file is treated independently. No specific layout is required.
Mark a folder as protected to exclude it from batch delete. If a duplicate pair is found where one copy is in a protected folder, the protected file is always kept and the other copy is sent to the Recycle Bin. Protected folders are also skipped during scanning when added via the "Do Not Touch" list.
All delete operations (Duplicates batch delete, Movie/TV Delete Entry) use the
Windows Recycle Bin via send2trash. Files can be restored from the Recycle Bin
if deleted by mistake.
