New Snapshot not created. Therefore change not detected. (cannot use for "are they online" watch)

So I have a watch set to https://kick.com/kyletooreal to notify me when theyre Live. But it only created 2 snapshots. 1 is from when he was offline. The other snapshot is when he was online and changedetection fired a notification.

The problem is any subsequent changes to the URL are not saved in a new snapshot. So it never detects that he is now offline again. My history for the watch only has 2 entries. 1 when he was offline and 1 when he was online.

I think its because CD only creates a new snapshot if it differs from original snapshot.

No filters setup. I can give you a link to the public watch history if you'd like. The watch history shows 2 snapshots. The first one was created when the URL's content showed the steamer was offline. The second snapshot is when he was online. But now when I run a check on the URL again it doesn't take a snapshot of the page showing he's offline again.

When you said "No filters setup" that wasnt true was it?

Sorry I didn't factor in the Conditions tab. But if I remove the condition it still doesn't take a new snapshot.

@kianrafiee does "Alert me when the streamer KyleTooReal is 'LIVE' on Kick" sound like it's going to pass when he's offline? You specifically asked it to only notify you when he's online.

Exactly, it didn't trigger today when he was online. It didn't save a new snapshot when he was online so thats why I thought it didnt trigger. I actually had it trigger that he was online once. But any other days when he was online it didnt trigger. And when I manually re-checked the watch it still didnt trigger even though he was online.

also depends on the Ai/LLM model, some smaller models dont work well (not our fault), you have all this AI/LLM/COnditions setup but you dont tell any information about it

Would it make any difference if I said I was using claude-opus-4.7? I specifically made sure to use this higher quality model while testing changedetection out to eliminate the possibility of it producing a false positive. I guess it's not really the website change detection thats not working but rather inserting the AI prompt is not reliable (not the fault of changedetection). Do you know how I could setup a watch for a streamer to notify when they're online?
