Submission steps
- Read current rules at https://github.com/hacs/default — they evolve. Note required JSON entry format, README section, version-pinning policy.
- Fork
hacs/default (use the same dibi73 fork pattern as the brands fork).
- Add the integration entry. For type=
integration it's typically a single line in the integration file: dibi73/ha-bookstack-sync.
- Open the PR with the title format the README specifies.
- Wait for the auto-validation bot. If red, read the bot's comment, fix, push to the same branch.
- Once green, the human reviewer queue is the next gate — can take days to weeks.
After landing
- Update repo README to drop the "Custom repositories" install instructions and replace with "search HACS for BookStack Sync".
- Bump README to mention HACS-default availability.
- Consider whether to keep the fork or delete after merge.
