chore: fix the fallback version to 1.5.2 in the setup.py

Problem

Most packages don't use setup.py but because of the c-build this still does. For some reason we have a fallback version that has to be manually updated

Proposed solution

fix it. But also maybe think of a way of find that dynamically, or at least, adding a box to the release checklist in this repository to update it.
