Removed outdated introductory line about the roadmap's timeline.
Added a detailed roadmap for 2026 outlining short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals.
Clarified the definition of the roadmap in the README.
Added an overview of the DIRECT initiative, including its vision and guiding principles.
Add section for history and community origins.
Expanded the README to include a detailed description of the problem space and the purpose of the DIRECT competency framework. Added sections on guiding principles and the position in the digital skills ecosystem.
