Add an option (found under Advanced Options in the limit box) to limit the splitting of overlapping peaks. The previous behaviour was to split all peaks that had a prominence (height to lowest contour) greater than the detection limit. The new option can limit peak detection to only those peaks that have a prominence X % of the maximum overlapping peak. To use the previous behaviour set prominence required to 0% or, to disable peak splitting entirely, set to 100%.
