OpenSAAB T2 brings the original diagnostic menus to Android through a Rust emulator and direct USB adapters. This community is open while the public source release and signed Android build are being prepared.

Where to post

• Q&A: setup, adapter selection and menu questions.
• Ideas: improvements and workflows you would like to see.
• Issues: reproducible bugs with app build, phone model, Android version, adapter and steps.

Chipsoft Pro is the current Android development focus. Nano has earlier successful vehicle runs, but a later initialization regression remains unresolved. Wider vehicle and module coverage still needs testing.

Useful reports, without private data

Describe what happened and what you expected. Include the exact menu path and visible error. Review app support reports before sharing. Do not post VINs, security seeds/keys, SSA files, firmware, raw USB captures, passwords or unredacted screenshots.

Android beta testing

Testing is voluntary. If you would like to help, reply with your phone model, Android version and adapter. Do not post your email or VIN. We will announce a build and a checklist when a testing round is ready.

No Google Play closed test is running yet. A future Play test will have its own opt-in link; joining this community does not count toward Google’s testing requirements.

Be constructive, respect other contributors and start with information/code-reading workflows. Do not perform vehicle changes simply to produce a bug report.
